So Many Books, So Little Time

Do you read several books at the same time or stick with one to the end before moving on to the next?

Just wondering. I usually switch between books at any given time, unless the one in hand is particularly engrossing.

Lately, I've been waking up earlier to get some reading done before the day unfurls. Since getting a Kindle, I also now manage to read at more places than before. It's so light and totally convenient to carry around.

And yet, I still never get to read as much as I want. Do you have this same problem?

Maybe devouring one book at a time is the way to go. It seems to me more mindful, now that I think of it. And maybe, just maybe, the single-minded focus will mean going through my library quicker than this current snail's pace...

Yes!! I have amassed so many books I still haven't read. Don't get me started on hoarding digital books..

What kind of Kindle do you have? :) Would you recommend it? I'm thinking if it is going to be worth the purchase. I love reading digital magazines on my mom's iPad but I would really much rather have a non-apple device. :)

Yes I was just thinking that I don't get to read anymore. The other day, someone asked me what was the last book I read and I couldn't remember. It saddened me no end when I realized that I hardly have time to get engrossed in a book. Sigh..like you say so many books and so little time.

I stick to one book at a time :) I just recently discovered e-books(!) and I've been uploading free public domain classics! I've been reading the Jane Austen novels. I read the books on weekends and at night. (T and Pink Princess, go back home where there's plenty of help and you will find time to read ;p)
